Big Sky Countries is a 501©3 non-profit organization founded in 2008 by Nichole Blackburn Manthe whose main focus is donating murals to children's facilities around the world. Since 2006, murals have been painted in Thailand (elementary school affected by 2006 tsunami), Ireland (elementary school), the Philippines (government orphanage), Bolivia (orphanage for special needs children), New Orleans (school rebuilt post-Hurricane Katrina), Atlanta, GA (teen homeless shelter), Costa Rica (Nosara children’s school located next to town jail), Newtown, CT (Newtown/Sandyhook youth center), New Jersey (Trenton Public Library children’s reading room),Ecuador (elementary school), Sri Lanka (special needs facility for teens) and numerous LAUSD elementary schools throughout Los Angeles.

These children's facilities include elementary schools, orphanages, children's hospitals, teen shelters, libraries, special needs facilities and youth centers. All children, faculty members, and well, everyone is encouraged to paint! For more information and to donate:
