“Technicolor Flamingo” Mural

This 4ft x 10ft funky flamingo mural was hand-painted throughout a custom-built home located in The Bird Streets above Los Angeles, California. Nichole Blackburn worked with interior designer, De la Torre Design Studio, to create a series of hand-painted flamingoes for this Hollywood Hills residence. An important part of this mural is that the flamingoes are inspired by birds painted in a mural at a hotel in Marrakech, Morocco that the client loved. Shown here is one of four flamingos that are hand-painted throughout a hallway that leads to the client’s hidden bar, private pool, and main entry hallway.
