“As a showroom owner in the La Cienega Design District, our windows are our billboard. They stop people in their tracks and often become the reason someone walks through our front door.

Working with Peti Lau Designs and Nichole Blackburn was a fantastic experience.  We created a deeply personal window display, and Nichole took the time to understand our vision, thoughtfully designing a custom mural that complemented our SERIP Glamour Light Sculpture rather than competing with it.  Through digital renderings, physical samples, and clear communication throughout the process, she made the entire collaboration feel effortless.

What impressed me most was her dedication.  To help us meet our Design Los Angeles deadline, Nichole rearranged her own schedule and arrived early on a Sunday morning to begin the installation.  I met her at the showroom before heading out to beach volleyball, and by the time I returned that afternoon, the mural was already taking shape. Seeing the vision come to life was incredibly rewarding and we continued to tweak the design.

The finished window beautifully reflected the spirit of our showroom and invited people inside. Beyond her artistic talent, Nichole is warm, thoughtful, and the consummate professional. She generously donated her time and creativity in support of the AAPI Design Alliance, and that generosity meant a great deal to all of us.
